Future Founders, a non-profit organization that believes every youth can become an entrepreneur, today announced the 20 entrepreneurs who were selected to participate in its 2021 Fellowship program.
The Fellowship, now in its seventh year, is a prestigious year-long program designed to accelerate the nation’s top young entrepreneurs and their businesses. The goal of the program is to develop both the founders and their startups, giving them the greatest foundation for future success. Fellows benefit from mentoring, skill development, entrepreneurship retreats, a peer community, and volunteer opportunities through Future Founders programs.
“2020 showed us that entrepreneurship and innovation are needed now more than ever, and we’re excited to bring together this group of promising and motivated young founders for the 2021 Fellowship Cohort,” said Scott Issen, President & CEO, Future Founders. “We are optimistic that this year’s cohort will expand on the milestones of our previous cohorts that generated $32.8 million in revenue, secured $34.9 million in capital, and created 543 jobs over the last four years alone.”
The Fellowship is generously supported by Capital One, The Coleman Foundation, Keywell Foundation, The John E. & Jeanne T. Hughes Foundation, and Jack and Goldie Wolfe Miller Fund.
Acceptance into the Fellowship followed a highly competitive nationwide application and interview process. The 2021 Fellows operate in a variety of industries including consumer packaged goods, drones, education, fitness, marketing, tech, and wellness.
