Future Founders, a non-profit organization building the nation’s largest inclusive community of intentional young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial-minded leaders, today announced the 19 entrepreneurs who were selected to participate in its 2022 Fellowship program.
The Fellowship, now in its eighth year, is a prestigious year-long program designed to accelerate the nation’s top young entrepreneurs and their businesses. The goal of the program is to develop both the founders and their startups, giving them the greatest foundation for future success. Fellows benefit from mentoring, skill development, entrepreneurship retreats, a peer community, and volunteer opportunities through Future Founders programs.
“We believe entrepreneurs exist to create positive change in the world, and these 19 founders joining the Fellowship are no exception,” said Scott Issen, President & CEO, Future Founders. “We are thrilled to have this talented group join our community of young founders who have generated over $139 million in revenue, raised $85 million in capital, and created 1,000+ jobs through their businesses.”
From fashion and cosmetic brands, to virtual networking tools, social justice education, and travel tech, the 2022 Fellows represent one of the most diverse groups of startups we’ve ever had in one cohort. Future Founders believes this diversity leads to rich learning and growth opportunities, both for the founders, and the startups they run.
“This group includes career-changers who took a chance on their big idea, first-generation Americans creating opportunities for those around them, and founders addressing the critical problems facing our society’s future relating to health, the environment, and education,” said Tina Hrabak, Senior Director of Startups, Future Founders. “They are truly representative of the power of entrepreneurship, and we can’t wait to get started with them.”
The Fellowship is generously supported by Blackstone Charitable Foundation, Capital One, The John E. & Jeanne T. Hughes Foundation, and Keywell Foundation. Acceptance into the Fellowship followed a highly competitive nationwide application and interview process.
