Future Founders is excited to announce the 17 entrepreneurs who were selected to participate in the next phase of our 2021 Startup Bootcamp.
Startup Bootcamp is our innovative early-stage accelerator serving 18 to 30-year-olds across the country. The program kicked off in February with a series of virtual programs that gave founders an opportunity to network with peers, connect with entrepreneurial thought leaders, and build skills through leadership development workshops and monthly mastermind sessions. Their work in Phase One culminated with the Startup Bootcamp Pitch Day, where founders pitched their businesses to a panel of entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders from across the country.
Startup Bootcamp Phase Two members were selected from the 45 founders who completed Phase One.
“Over the past three months, we have been able to work with these 17 entrepreneurs as they put in the work to better understand their customers and problems they are solving. We’re excited to provide them with continued support, coaching, and programming as they build, launch, and scale,” said Tina Hrabak, Director of Startups, Future Founders. “From relationship coaching to digital collaboration spaces, each of these companies is making a positive impact in the world around them and we’re proud to have them as members of the Future Founders community.”
The second phase of Startup Bootcamp kicked off with a virtual summit that runs through the end of June. Throughout the course of the summit, founders will have the opportunity to attend nine different skill development sessions on topics ranging from digital marketing and lean manufacturing, to legal and accounting best practices for first-time founders. Future Founders is incredibly grateful for the entrepreneurs and business experts who have agreed to share their time and expertise during these sessions, including Lindsay Knight (Partner at Chicago Ventures), Koby Lomax (Founder of Ardent Candles), Esther Barron (Director, Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center), Chris Snyder (Shopify), Murtaza Bambot (CEO of Heartbeat), Jeff Cantalupo (Founder & Managing Partner of Listen Ventures), Pete McDonnell (Accelerated Growth), Brittany Harris (Founder of GoBee Harris), Tony Wilkins (Standing Oaks Ventures), and Taylor Morrison (CEO of Inner Workout).
Startup Bootcamp is generously supported by Blackstone Charitable Foundation, Capital One, The Coleman Foundation, Keywell Foundation and The John E. & Jeanne T. Hughes Foundation.
