Future Founders is excited to announce the 17 entrepreneurs who were selected to participate in the next phase of our 2022 Startup Bootcamp.
Startup Bootcamp is our innovative early-stage accelerator serving 18 to 30-year-olds across the country. The program kicked off in March with a series of virtual programs that gave founders an opportunity to network with peers, connect with entrepreneurial thought leaders, and build skills through leadership development workshops and monthly mastermind sessions. Their work in Phase One culminated with the Startup Bootcamp Pitch Day, where founders pitched their businesses to a panel of entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders from across the country.
Startup Bootcamp Phase Two members were invited from the 42 founders who participated in Phase One.
“Over the past three months, we’ve guided these 17 entrepreneurs as they put in the work to better understand their customers and problems they are solving. We’re excited to provide them with continued support, coaching, and programming as they build, launch, and scale,” said Scott Issen, President & CEO, Future Founders. “From up-cycled beer waste to language learning video games, each of these companies is making a positive impact in the world around them and we’re proud to have them as members of the Future Founders community.”
The second phase of Startup Bootcamp will kick off with a virtual summit that runs through the end of July. Throughout the course of the summit, founders will have the opportunity to attend ten different skill development sessions on topics ranging from growth hacking and fundraising, to legal and DEI best practices for first-time founders. Future Founders is incredibly grateful for the entrepreneurs and business experts who have agreed to share their time and expertise during these sessions including Patti Doyle (Founder, Rumi Spice), Janine Hill (President, Soar Strategies), Esther Barron (Director, Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center, Northwestern University), Wes Schroll (CEO & Founder, Fetch Rewards), Jodi Schroll (Co-Founder, bluDiagnostics), Chris Cherian (Founder, Gatherly), and Annamarie Galente (Business Operations Manager, Honeycomb Credit).
After July, founders will benefit from three months of speakers, workshops, one-to-one mentorship, and seed grant funding. The program concludes in November with an in-person retreat in Chicago.
Startup Bootcamp is generously supported by Blackstone Charitable Foundation, Keywell Foundation, The John E. & Jeanne T. Hughes Foundation and EY.
