Future Founders, a nonprofit building the nation’s largest inclusive community of intentional young entrepreneurs, today announced the appointment of Kari O’Connor to its Board of Directors.
Kari O’Connor is a Partner in the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP (EY) with more than 20 years of experience providing assurance services to private and nonprofit organizations including hospital systems, academic medical centers, private equity-backed health clinics, and higher education institutions. Kari is an EY executive sponsor for the Entrepreneur Of The Year™ and Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ programs celebrating and honoring the achievements of unstoppable entrepreneurs.
Kari also serves on the Board of Aspire Illinois, a nonprofit providing services to help empower people with developmental disabilities to explore new possibilities in living, learning, and working. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Miami University (Ohio) and is a Certified Public Accountant. Kari lives with her husband, John, and their four children in the western suburbs of Chicago.
