Over the past three weeks, the Future Founders Foundation and the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) hosted competitions for our partnership schools so students could showcase the business plans they created during the school year. From each school’s competition, judges selected 2-4 plans to advance to the Future Founders finalist pool.
After reviewing the high caliber finalists, we are pleased to announce the nine plans that will be featured at the 7th Annual Future Founders Citywide Business Plan Competition. This “American Idol” meets entrepreneurship competition will take place on Wednesday, May 9 at the Hard Rock Café.
For this year’s event, students will compete in two categories: PRODUCT & SERVICE and TECHNOLOGY.
For each category, we will award first and second place honors. The distinction on whether the plan fell into the TECHNOLOGY category was based on how heavily the students’ products/services leveraged technology in their business.
