Do I need to be a college student to apply?
U.Pitch contestants must be currently enrolled as a college student or have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program within the past six months. Consult the Contestant Handbook for full details regarding eligibility.
What types of businesses do you accept?
Contestants must have started a company OR simply have an idea to start a company (must be a for-profit venture and headquartered in the United States). Businesses must not have raised more than $1M in capital and cannot be cannabis related. Be sure to consult the Contestant Handbook for full details regarding eligibility.
What type of information is required to apply?
Applicants must submit a brief (200 characters or less) description of their idea as well as a link to a 90-second pitch video of you explaining your idea (YouTube or Vimeo).
Is there a fee to apply or participate?
No, participation in U.Pitch is completely free.
