Chris (he/him) is a Startups Manager for Future Founders. In this role, he is responsible for the Startup Bootcamp programming, and he leads the creation of other learning and networking opportunities for diverse 18- to 30-year-old founders in the idea stage of their business.
Before joining Future Founders, Chris was a former Teach for America corps member who taught high school reading and writing on the South Side of Chicago. Following teaching, he was also accepted into and successfully completed multiple pre-seed accelerator programs as an entrepreneur himself, further fueling his passion to be involved in the startup space.
Chris received a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics (PPE) from the University of Michigan. He also holds a certificate in entrepreneurship from the Founder Institute and a certificate in basic coding and website development from Northwestern University.
Outside of Future Founders, Chris enjoys reading, watching anime, and playing video games (particularly Super Smash Bros). He is very passionate about fitness and does online personal training on the side.
