Sam Schryer (he/him) is Managing Director for Future Founders. In this role, he leads the strategy and development of our programming for middle and high school students from underestimated areas of Chicago, ensuring the highest quality experience for our students and partners. In addition, Sam supports the President & CEO with organizational strategy, program design, fundraising, and other capacity building initiatives. 

Prior to Future Founders, Sam spent over 10 years working for a range of organizations dedicated to empowering young people. Most recently, Sam worked at an EdTech startup connecting underrepresented high school students with multinational corporations. In addition, he holds a high school teaching qualification through Teach First, the British equivalent of Teach For America, where he taught English.

Sam earned his Masters in Education from Canterbury Christ Church University and Bachelors in Politics from Newcastle University.

Originally from London, England, Sam is excited to help facilitate transformative programming for young entrepreneurs across Chicago and meet the next generation of founders!
